We are now well into the last term of the school year here in Melbourne, and with all the school concerts, excursions and fun days planned, it feels like we are sprinting to the finish of another year.
A few weeks back in the school holidays, I held a series of Shrinkibits Shrink Plastic Workshops as incursions at 10 different primary school holiday programs around Melbourne.
Hundreds of children experienced the thrill of shrinking plastic for the first time. They created delightfully imaginative pieces that shrunk before their eyes in the little portable oven, and they proudly took them home as pendants and bag tags.
I managed to get a few photos of their work and promised a couple of those children I would publish their masterpieces in my blog, so here they are, kids!
